I really appreciate how close it is to Historic San Augustine, including the fort and the visitors center. It was so great to just be able to walk around freely, to visit the different shops, restaurants, pubs , museums and cafes.
It did get a bit cold when the weather dipped down to low 40s, but the additional blankets made sleeping comfortable.
