Stay with us for a night or a year in one of our cute and cozy 1 BR / 1 BA cottage in the heart of historic Riverside. Our cottage is located on a shaded street that is quiet and serene. It is the perfect spot for families moving to Jacksonville from out of town, folks visiting the downtown area for games and events at TIAA Bank Field, or those visiting Jax Beach. The cottage is warm and inviting with cozy décor and the main bedroom has a queen size bed. What more could you ask for!

Refund Policy

A 3.9% processing fee on refunds is non-refundable. Refunds will be the amount paid minus this fee, per Stripe's policy. This applies to direct booking and bookings made through select booking channels.

General Guidelines

●Pets: A pet fee of $75 applies per reservation for up to 2 pets. Bringing a pet without prior notification incurs an additional $100 fee, and we may end your stay early. No cats allowed. If your pet causes any damages, additional charges will incur to cover repair or cleaning costs.
●Age Requirement: Primary guest must be 21+, with an adult over 21 present during the stay.
Food & Drink: No food or drink in bedrooms (closed water bottles allowed); extra cleaning fees for stains.
●No Smoking: Smoking of any kind is prohibited; $200 fine for violations. Additional charges will incur to cover repair or cleaning costs.
●Trash: Dispose of all trash in outside bins before departure.
●Damages: Report any damages within 24 hours of occurrence or immediately upon arrival. Failure to report damages could result in liability for repair or replacement costs.
●Dishes: Wash all dishes and run the dishwasher (if applicable) before leaving.
●Windows: Keep windows closed for security.
●Storage Closet: Keep this area closed and locked.
●Consumables: Leftover items are at your discretion; freshness is not guaranteed.
●Furniture: Do not rearrange.
●Parties & Events: Unauthorized parties are not allowed; violations will result in additional charges and immediate eviction.
●Only registered guests are permitted to stay at the property. If you would like to add extra guests beyond the number initially registered, please request approval before finalizing your booking. Any additional guests that exceed the maximum allowed at the property will incur an additional charge of $100 per person. This requires approval from us prior to booking.
●Illegal Activities: Will result in immediate eviction.
●Quiet Hours: 10pm to 7am. Please be respectful of neighbors.

Riverside is (in)arguably the best neighborhood in Jax! It is full of historic homes and parks, bustling nightlife. There are 3 rooftop restaurants/bars within a half mile of this apartment! This apartment is also in close proximity to the St. John's River. Art and culture also abound - visit the Riverside Arts Market 52 Saturdays a year from 10am to 3pm, or the Cummer Museum.

wall mount AC unit was moldy, we didn't notice until the next day and my girlfriend and I both wound up getting nauseous. had to sleep with windows open and AC off. TV was broken, and hair was in the tub drain. we were refunded so it was made right at least. decent area, a close drive to most things. yard was a decent enough space for the dogs to run around

I booked The Yellow Cottage last minute to spend a few extra days in FL after the holidays. The hosts were super responsive, friendly, and accommodating. The Cottage is located behind the main house in an established neighborhood that felt very safe. I loved the privacy of the standalone unit while still being close to everything I needed. I thought the location was very walkable, with easy access to some shops and restaurants as well as the Riverwalk. The Cottage itself was as pictured, and actually a little more spacious than I had expected. It was very clean and a few days' worth of basic essentials (soap, shampoo/conditioner, dish soap) were provided. The toilet DOES wobble, which could be an issue for someone with balance or mobility issues, and the wifi could be spotty at times. Overall it was a great stay, and I would definitely book again if in the area!

This place is in a decent area being in riverside but the street it’s located on is dark, unsafe, noisy, and right up next to a high school. The bed is hard and I didn’t get any sleep. The WiFi didn’t work. The lock and door was difficult. The entry was blocked by someone’s white Camry. There were about ten trash cans blocking my way in and noticeable smells and rats. The toilet was wobbly and the kitchen sink and shower pipes were making gurgling noises and smelled like sewage. The overhead lights flickered and the neon decor light was hard to turn off. No amenities provided other than soap and water. Don’t recommend.

Have stayed with A&M several times and they never disappoint. The house is perfect for 2 guests or a furry friend or two. The location is excellent In a very nice neighborhood in the riverside/avondale area, with several restaurants and shops plus a very nice walking park close by and the river only a few blocks away. The house itself came with nice amenities including off street parking and a w/d. Any issues I had were swifty addressed and resolved. Would highly recommend any place hosted by A&M.
