Very decent for a short stay, the back kitchen window with absolutely no curtain gave me the creeps & the front door lock got stuck from the inside causing me to have to send my boyfriend around the building in order to open it from the outside. Other than that, the stay was clean, private and peaceful.

It’s a nice little loft, has the basic needs but it does have a smoke smell when you walk in, the bathroom & shower does need an upgrade, it gives the impression of being dirty but it’s not. Other than that, we felt comfortable and enjoyed our stay. We would stay again 🙂

Nice place if you get there by car - which was not our case when we first arrived. But it is a nice apartment place. Sometimes other guests are a bit noisy, but that can't be blamed on the hosts, who were kind and helpful, despite not having seen each other!

Stayed here for the weekend and it was ok. If you need literally just a bed this is the place. The bathroom is hella rundown, had to wear flip flops in the shower cause the floor was sharp, full of caulking like they had just been workin on it before I arrived. Kitchenette was messy, dirty looking. Had running water tho so that was ok. Fridge n freezer was dirty too so that’s that. The bed is a lil smaller than a queen. Would fit 2 small people comfortably. When asked if I could get an inflatable mattress they said “we don’t offer that “amenity”” and then continued to be like “if you need anything please let us know!” I’m like… I asked y’all n u already said no. So why would I trust y’all would help if the first time I’m shut down? I ended up spending 70$ on an air mattress because they didn’t have the costumer service to provide one (which I’m sure they had… most hosts have one)
I wouldn’t stay here again. Very dirty, rug was supposed to be white instead it was brown lmao. Again if all u need is a bed (and a sharp dirty DIY in progress shower) stay here.
I will say the neighborhood was cute and everyone was decorated for Halloween.

This was a nice cozy place. I loved the fact that it is so close to a lot of places to eat at. Uptown kitchen & Bar is like 2 minutes drive. Super close to the freeway. About 25 minutes to Jacksonville airport and Jax beach. Definitely check out Jax beaches.
The house was clean and check in was a breeze easy.
It is a studio unit so you will walk right into the bedroom. But the place is nicely decorated so once you are in you will feel right at home.
Cons:
It is an older unit, although looks like a recent renovations (paint job) was done.
There is a lingering smell of cigarette smoke in the room - like it’s been there for ages. It will hit you each time you walk in but once you settle in I guess you get used to the smell.

Andrew and Melody’s unit in Springfield ticked all the boxes…
Andrew and Melody’s unit in Springfield ticked all the boxes that we needed ticking. The unit was well equipped with all the basic necessities covered. It is perfectly located in Springfield, an historic suburb that is going through a major gentrification program. There is enough locally to occupy you, with coffee shops, bars and restaurants within a 5-10 minute walk and downtown Jacksonville is a 15 minute walk or a 2 minute car ride.
One further thing worth mentioning is the quality of the communications with Andrew and Melody. They responded to enquiries quickly and could not have been more helpful. They truly were a pleasure to deal with. I certainly have no hesitation in recommending them.

This room is essentially one in a refurbished, small, old time motel that had dinettes, etc. Or that is what it feels like. It is fairly basic, and could have been improved greatly by having an air-conditioner that was not so loud, and some simple amenities like coat hangers.
Definitely recommended
This studio apartment looks identical to the pictures. Very spacious! The unit was clean and well maintained. It could use more lighting. I would definitely stay here again!!
